I had breast implants done 5 days ago and I feel great! 5 Years ago I had a lumpectomy done on my right breast,it left a small scar that was not too noticable but as the years went by,my right breast sent south alot faster than my left and as my husband an I spend our vacations on tropical beaches that are sometimes topless,I was feeling really selfconcious last year when we were in Mexico. My husband is wonderful and would never have said that I looked funny but I felt ugly and unballanced. So for my birthday he told me to go do it!!
After doing the research and finding the right doctor, I had 4 appointments with him before,one that my husband came to,I felt very secure in what I was about to do.
I went from a small B to a full C,and had the Mentor Gels put in, the first 3 days were weird, I had a pain pump and I would recomend that for every one, but you have to carry it around with you and there are tubes hanging out of the side of your breast, but the only hard time I had was getting to a sitting position, the first 3 days it is important to have someone with you to help you get up just to go to the bathroom. This is day 5 and I feel the nerves tritching on the left side every once in a while, but other than that I feel great and am getting bored sitting at home.
If this is something that you want to do....DO IT! maybe I am jumping the gun a little after only 5 days, but I feel great considering, and I would do it again tomorrow! And they look beautiful already!
I can't wait until they heal and I can put on a sexy bathing suit this summer!
I was 18 when i realized i wasn't going to be any larger than a 36 AA. I was so self conscious of my body. Well, the top half anyways. I felt like I never belonged in the bra department and heaven forbid i buy a tube top or low cut shirt. All of my bras had large padding so I could at least look a normal A cup beneath my clothes. I never thought i would go through with surgery but my cousins recommended an excellent surgeon (they both had the procedure) and I had to check him out. Three weeks after my initial consultation my surgery was scheduled. Today is the day after my procedure. I ended up going with 250 cc soft round moderate profile saline.
I'm in pain, but not a lot. It hurts a bit to breathe mainly because it moves my chest muscles. My arms feel paralyzed too. Its hard to grab things that are 6 inches in front of me and i can barely get out of my chair. I know things will only get better and that's what is keeping me going. I'm so glad i went through with it and I can't wait until they heal and I can put on a sexy bathing suit this summer! I now look like a 23 year old women and not a 12 year old girl.
Friends ask me if I have any regrets, and I tell them absolutely... that I didn't have Dr. Quinn from Overland, Kansas perform by breast implant surgery years ago! I am extremely pleased with my new size.

I had my surgery in February of 2008. I went from a small A to a C. I had some pain and was off work for 3 days. I was sore but it is totally worth every ache. I liked it when I read that one woman said that her arms didn't know what to do. I think that was the thing that I had to get used to. My arms just rubbed against them. I never had that before. I actually have boobs... YEAH.... If you are thinking about it.. do it... My doctor and his staff were great. The nurse that was helping me decide how big I wanted to be helped me out alot. She told me to go a bit bigger than I thought so I did. I am so glad... Do it if you are thinking about it.... JUST DO IT!!

I had lost 83 pounds and my breasts were the first to go. So, after a year and a half of research and wondering if I should go thru with it or not, I did it. I had a lift and implants. Before surgery, I was a 36B and I am now a 36D and I couldn't be happier. I was sore for a couple of days but 4 1/2 months later, I feel it was the best thing I have done "for myself" in a long time. My best advice to anyone thinking of going thru w/the surgery is make sure you are doing it for "you" and no one else and do your homework on the pros and cons.

I have two beautiful children, but after breast feeding both of them I wanted to have beautiful breasts again. After much research into what breast augmentation could do for me I decided to go ahead with the surgery. Dr. Quinn in Overland Park Kansas did an outstanding job. I had surgery on a Tuesday and was out and about on Friday. My recovery was so easy and not nearly as painful as I was expecting. I was so self concious about myself before the surgery and now I walk around with my head held high! My friends tell me how real they look and how beautiful they are... I finally have the body that I have always wanted and I have Dr. Quinn to thank for that!

I was a 'C' in high school, but after 3 pregnancies and breastfeeding, I became an 'A' and they were extremely saggy. I often referred to them as tube socks...my breasts were in desperate need of some repair. After my first baby 6 yrs. ago, I started thinking about breast augmentation but knew that I was not done having kids. So I decided to wait. I had my surgery exactly 10 days ago and I couldn't be happier with my decision! I went back to a small C (475cc), had a lift, plus a little lipo around the axillae (underarm region) to really get that nice round shape I wanted. I didn't expect as much pain as I experienced, but it was totally worth it! I already feel more at peace with myself. I can't wait to go shopping and start my workout routine again! “I thought long and hard to decide on implants.”
I had breast surgery after having 2 children and breast fed. They shrunk from a 36b to a 34a. I thought long and hard to decide on implants so I went for it and had 250cc in each breast. I am now 5 days after having the op and feel fine however the first 3 days were painful. I also had a masplectomy in which they cut around the nipples which at the moment is a bit sore but are very pleased with the results.
So far so good and I would recommend this op to anyone.

I am 29 years old woman, and had always felt selfconcious because of my small A-B breasts. I was bullied at school, because of it too, so I guess that always stayed at the back of my mind, even until adulthood. I was thinking about breast augmentation for several years, researching, and was always scared to do it because I was worried that it would turn out wrong, or that it would be very painfull. However, 3 weeks ago, I decided to finally do it, and I could not be happier about the results so far.

We discussed the size with the surgeon and although he recommended 255cc, I decided to go for 275cc, because I thought that I would not want to feel afterwards, that I went too small, which apparently is the most common complaint after surgery.
The surgery laster 45 minutes, and when I woke up I was feeling fine, little tired perhaps. They took me to my room in the hospital, and I ate dinner, watched some tv and slept. When I woke up and walked to the toilet, it felt very painfull to move. I was worried that it would be like that for the next 2 weeks or so. In the evening I took a painkiller they gave me and when it didn't work much, they gave me a pain injection as well. I slept like a baby whole night, and didn't wake up until the following morning when the nurse came into the room. The nurse removed the bandages, and I could take a shower before going home.
The craziest part is, that the following day I had hardly any pain at all, only when getting out of bed. I did take the painkillers they gave me in the morning just in case, and the trip home when well. I went home alone, and took a shower and even washed my hair myself. My friend brought my dog back the following day, and I went on day 2 for 2 walks with her. On day 3 I went shopping for underwear, because I was feeling totally fine, and that's when I got some sharp pain in the other breast, I guess it didn't like the fact that I was trying on so many bras... lol!
Now, it's week 3 after surgery, I still have to wear the sports bra for another week. The breasts look beautifull allready, (they really looked from day 2), but have now started to soften up and both have "dropped".
All in all, I can't believe how pain free the whole operation was, I hardly had any bruises at all, and the scars are hardly to be seen on week 3. I couldn't been happier, especially I discovered that I am not only 75-80C but also 75D fits well! :)

6 weeks after Breast Augmentation. Super Happy !
Myself: 42 years old, 126 pounds, 5'6" high.
Exercise: Yes. Yoga, High Impact Aerobics.
Results: Full C, Natural. 36C Bra (i was a 34A before, i had firm, not saggy breast). I received compliments about how natural my breast look, proportioned and aesthetic.
Surgeon: I researched a lot before the surgery.
My pick: one on the Best Surgeons in the area with 25 years of experience, recommended by a friend, and especialized in Breasts. Also, Doctor's web site provides pictures of his work, wonderful, natural look. Check at least 2 doctors about your Breast Augmentation is recomended.
Implants: I chose Saline Implants (Mentor Round Smooth Moderate Profile).
Doctor's choice: 350cc implants filled up to 380cc. I got the option to choose between Saline or Memory Gel Implants. My Surgeon just said Silicone Implants are just more natural. Not a lot of explanation about what is the best choice, he just said both are good and is just about what the customer wants... I pick saline because my Surgeon results with other patients using saline implants are very natural too, and saline filled implants may help the Surgeon to adjust the size at the moment of the Surgery. Also, in a chance of rupture (rare and just 1%) saline solution is absorbed by the body, and i do not need any MRI. (MRI are needed to check Silicone Implants Rupture).
My Husband: Very Supportive, help me a lot through recovery together with my mother (lot of help is needed for the recovery period after the procedure). My husband is extremely happy with the results, he loved it. No problem with the "fake" factor. It was my own decision to go through this. I never have had a problem with my look before, always happy, but this year i just got interested in some improve of my appearance, and then: decision made.
PRE-OP: A LOT OF ANXIETY, and expectations. Very Nervous.
SURGERY DAY: Anxiety, a lot of anxiety, very nervous. But Surgery Procedure itself was very easy and fast. Surgery time: 1:45pm, i was back at home at 4pm. I got Sedation with local anesthesy. I didn't sleep AT ALL the day of the Surgery, not even at night. I was very uncomfortable, sore, and very excited.
THE NEXT DAY: THE WORST.
POST OP: Very Stressful, extremely painful, more than expected. Just excrutiating. My back and shoulder muscles extremely in pain,and this muscle struggle last for aproximately 12 days after surgery.Not exagerating. I was very uncomfortable about this and stressed out. I have to take the pain medicine (vicodin) every 4 hours as prescribed. I got the whole prescription, and even so, i got moments of excruxianting very stressful pain. I took the pain medication with plain rice and plain Yogurt to avoid nausea, and it works perfect, no problem at all with the pills (just very bad constipation and swelling of my belly for 7 days).
4th Day after surgery: 1rs visit to Docto's office after surgery. Everthing was fine. Doctor's move the implants and it was not so painful as i've been told. A lot of swelling, shiny skin. Normal symptoms.
7th Day after surgery: Covers are removed. I was finaly able to get a shower. It was the first time i saw my breast. Even they were very swelling, they look BEAUTIFUL. I was happy, my mother and husband too, very impressed. To see the results gave me the strengh to hold on the pain. I was still feeling bad. The worst days are really the first 3 days, but i was still in so much pain and discomfort, sore, and the muscle pain was the worst part of the recovery process.
10th day: Stitches removed. I was very impressed about the incision scars on my nipples. Barely noticeable, even they were so recently.
12th day: Breast massages beginning. Everybody told me that the massages will be painful. Not at all. Massages are very helpful. I was told to do the minimun 3 times a day, but the more, the better. I did 7 times a day, everyday, because it doesnt' hurt me at all. I finally started to feel better.
3 weeks after surgery: I didn't posted my testimony at this time, because i wanted to wait when i really feel almost commpletely recovered. After 3 weeks i felt less stress on my back muscles, better range of movement, more normal, more me. My breast look and feel more like a part of me than something hard on top of my chest. Very happy and motivated.
6 weeks after surgery: Today. What can i tell you? I don't regret at all the whole recovery process. It was a process. Breast Augmentation is a surgery, (not simple for me, very painful, but is not the same for everybody, it depends of every individual body reaction) and you have to be careful managing yourself, and very uncomfortable for not being able to do a lot of normal stuff you do, but everyday after the 3rd week, you feel fast improvement. getting better and better and you will feel wonderful. I look very natural on my clothes. I am a size Small, and my clothes still fit perfectly. I just loose my old bras and bikini tops, not my clothes. Everything i wear look so great now. I can not wait to go back to the Gym.
Gym outfits and bikini tops: GORGEOUS. Everything looks so femenine. Definetely worth it ! I don't want to regret asking to myself why i didn't get this done before, because i just got my Breast Augmentation when i really want to do it, and even so, is not only a phisycal procedure with phisycal changes, also psicologicaly, you have to be ready to go through this, because is a very positive change, but is an elective change of your body.

I am a mother of two and desperately wanted to correct the damage done to my breasts over the years. I did a significant amount of research on breast augmentation prior to having the procedure, which I obtained most of my information from LoveYourLook.com. Aside from the quality product in which I selected as my implants of choice through this website, I was also provided the contact information for my local plastic surgeons in which I contacted approximately 7 different offices. It wasn't until I called Dr. Christopher Schaffer's office who was the last of those contacted and spoke with his amazing staff that I finally felt a sense of assurance, hence my decision to go with his practice.
When I learned that Dr. Schaffer had just recently completed an understudy with a top plastic surgeon in Texas whom I believe specializes in pain and recovery management, knowing that he's already received his degrees and certificates to practice, yet still was taking the time and initiative to improve and broaden his knowledge to better serve his patients, that was my first inclination that this was the office for me. It was after this study that Dr. Schaffer's office implemented the "Recipe for Recovery", which is my main reason for writing this email.
Too often today, with the many different variances of surgical and non-surgical procedures in which require pain medication and treatment, I personally feel people in general rely too highly on the stronger narcotic drugs that we all know can be addicting and worse yet, deadly if used abusively. The "Recipe for Recovery" which specifically calls for the use of 800mg Ibuprofen for pain, not only reduces the risk of drug addictions, I honestly do not believe that I would have been up within 24 hours of my surgery, carrying on with my normal everyday routines, had I not participated in this program. I believe the use of the stronger narcotic drugs slows down the recovery process and it really all boils down to mind over matter. I believe this is the type of revolutionary program that should be implemented in all applicable practices and should replace the use of the stronger, more harmful narcotic drugs.
Not only did I achieve a speedy and mostly pain free recovery, I also obtained the gift of satisfaction and fulfillment from my breast augmentation experience and I could not have asked for a better outcome and I owe that all to Dr. Christopher Schaffer and his staff.
